Welcome to ELRA's SLR validation residence at SPEX
After an open call, the Speech Processing EXpertise centre (SPEX) in
Nijmegen, the Netherlands, was selected as ELRA's first VC for spoken
language resources (SLR). The Validation Centre which was established in 1999, has the
following tasks:
- develop methodologies for SLR validation
- carry out Quick Quality Checks on existing SLR in ELRA's catalogue
- maintain a bug report service for SLR
- assemble patch files for corrected SLR
